The online version of An Cosantóir www.dfmagazine.ie was launched on 23 Dec 2008 and is now in existence over twelve months. During this time, the website has continued to grow with viewers from over 100 countries visiting the site in 2009 with 300,000 page views alone. The magazine will continue to be developed with the uploading of back issues of the magazines and short articles and photos from everyday life and events across the Defence Forces. In conjunction with the website, An Cosantóir also launched an online photo gallery on flickr.com and an electronic newsletter to further expand the reach of the magazine.
